Christmas came early at USD 495! 🎄
Mr. Wachs and Miss Spain spread joy across the District today! Elementary kids received Larned keychains, middle/high school got water bottles with the Larned logo, and staff had a chance at golden tickets inside Willy Wonka-inspired candy bars! 🍫 A heartfelt thank you to our local sponsors for making this magical day possible. Nearly 60 gift cards were generously donated by local businesses and organizations, spreading joy to our fantastic staff. Your support makes our holiday season extra merry! #larnedpride #bettertogether

We enjoyed having Santa Fe Trail Auto Club at LES for Hi5 Friday today. Thank you so much for sharing your morning with us! #larnedpride #lesfamily #bettertogether

Mayor Nusser stopped by Mrs. Hammond's 4th-grade classroom to discuss our ideas on how the city can use funds to enhance our town! Exciting proposals from our students included a kid-friendly nightclub or a skating rink.#larnedpride #lesfamily

Michael Steele has been nominated as the LMS All-Star of the month for consistently going the extra yard! This dedicated staff member goes above and beyond for students and staff, always willing to lend a helping hand.
In addition, Michael has been chosen as our District Staff Member of the Month by an external voting panel. This recognition is particularly special as Michael is the first staff member in our district who doesn't work directly with students to be honored with this award.

Our generous LES family rallied together and donated a whopping 820 items to the Fort Larned Lions Club food drive. 🎁 Your kindness is making Christmas brighter for those in need. Thank you! #larnedpride #lesfamily #bettertogether
