Senior Information

Larned High School Graduation is Saturday, May 17 at 2:00 PM.

Graduation Requirements & Attire:

  • Dress Code: Slacks (no jeans), a nice shirt, and dress shoes (no tennis shoes).

  • Caps may not be decorated.

  • All dues must be paid in order to participate in the graduation ceremony.

Graduation Week Schedule:

  • Wednesday Before Graduation:

    • Baccalaureate: Optional event; business casual attire recommended.

  • Thursday Before Graduation:

    • Awards Assembly: Students are dismissed after the assembly and do not return to class.

  • Friday Before Graduation (8 AM):

    • Graduation Practice & LES Walk – Meet at LHS. Bring your gown (leave in your car).

    • Seniors will be bused to LES and wear their gowns for the traditional walk.

    • Reception in the LHS cafeteria following the walk.


      (Class President & Stuco President will practice their speeches during the reception.)

Graduation Day:

  • Meet at 12:30 PM for a group photo with the Board President.

  • A detailed graduation letter will be distributed two weeks prior to the ceremony—this page will be updated when that is available.

Senior Yearbook Photos & Info:

  • Seniors must complete the Google Form by February 5th: Submit Yearbook Info Here

  • If you haven’t taken senior pictures or don’t plan to, see Mrs. Stahlecker ASAP.

Post-Graduation Communication:

  • Mrs. Reece needs a personal email address from every senior for post-graduation communication. Please make sure she has yours.
