Accidents and emergencies happen... that's why it's so important for all of our coaching staff, student athletes, and administrators to have an Emergency Action Plan. Our Athletic Director, Mr. Ettleman made a surprise visit to the LMS volleyball & football practices this afternoon to discuss each team's EAP. It's always best to be prepared, and we are thankful for our coaching staff for being on top of their game. 💪🏼🧡🖤 #larnedpride

Say “hello” to two-way messaging and classroom announcements in the USD 495 app! With the addition of Rooms, our district app keeps getting better. Parents/guardians check your email with instructions to sign up and access new features.

Join our LHS Booster Club tonight at 6:00 by the Booster booth for a tailgate before the boys kick off at 7! GBT will be there with free meal vouchers for the first 50 people. Otherwise, it's $5 for a hamburger/hot dog meal. Good luck, Indians! #larnedpride

Gone are the days of downloading a new app each time your child joins a new class or school activity. Rooms will be the hub for it all right inside the USD 495 app (where you can still keep up with district-wide news, calendars, and menus). The teachers and staff in our district have worked hard to prepare this powerful tool for our families. Rooms will give you a digital look into what's going on in your child's classroom and remove the divide between school and home. Teachers and staff will post weekly announcements and have general information and materials for their class posted. Families will be able to direct message their child's teacher in the same spot. Is english not your first language? Rooms will translate for you!
We have a goal of getting 90% of our families signed up for Rooms TODAY, Friday, September 1st. Your registration link should be in the inbox associated with your Skyward account. Comment below when you have registered and we will randomly draw a name for a prize on Tuesday, September 5th! #larnedpride #lesfamily

It was an exciting morning at LES as the LHS football team and cheerleaders were here to host Hi5 Friday! Hopefully, all our kiddos will take their foam fingers and pom poms to cheer on the Indians tonight in their season opener against Pratt at 7pm. Go Indians! #larnedpride
If your business or group is interested in hosting a Hi5 Friday, please contact Tina Gladow at LES at 620-285-2141 or tina.gladow@usd495.com
