It's Game Day! 📣🏈
As we gear up for tonight's football game against Southwestern Heights at 7, we have a few important reminders to share:
🐾 Please remember, no pets are allowed inside the sports complex.
💵 For your convenience, we've attached the gate and concession stand prices. Additionally, tonight's tailgate is sponsored by the Santa Fe Trail Days Committee and they will be hosting a free will donation sloppy joe feed!
💧 While on the turf, only water can be consumed. No food or other drinks are allowed inside the 4-foot fence.
🎀 Don't forget your pink!
Best of luck tonight, Indians! #larnedpride #besttribeever

Each month, students and fellow staff members at Larned High School submit a nomination for the Rockstar Teacher award. We are proud to announce that Mr. Keith is the well-deserved rockstar recipient for September for setting the stage for success! This teacher is somebody who has taught you something that is extremely important for a future endeavor, whether that be ensuring you are prepared for an important assignment/test/project or is teaching you something substantial that will be useful even after graduation. Not only does Mr. Keith excel in the classroom, but he also goes above and beyond as the head football coach, leading the Indians to a successful season! Mr. Keith knows how to balance his responsibilities as both a teacher and a coach, and his dedication and passion for what he does shines through in everything he does. No matter where Mr. Keith is, he always gets the job done, and his impact on our kids are immeasurable. 📚💪 Congratulations! #larnedpride #besttribeever

LMS Volleyball with the sweep at Reno Valley! Congratulations on bringing home 3 wins ladies! #larnedpride

Congratulations to the LMS football team for resounding win at Reno Valley tonight! #larnedpride

In Mrs. Rainbolt's first grade class, each student will have a chance to be the STAR student for the class. This student shares an "ALL ABOUT ME" poster made at home with their family and the class will make them a class book. The parent is invited to come to school to read a book and tell us about their job during that week. The parent tells us how they use reading, writing, and math in their job and how important it is to work hard and do their best everyday. #lesfamily #larnedpride

Tomorrow, we're painting the town PINK! 🎨💕
👚We encourage all of our staff and students to join us by wearing pink to school, and all Indian fans to wear pink to the game against Southwestern Heights at home tomorrow, starting at 7. 🏈 We are painting the town pink in honor of Kindness Week (anti-bullying) and for breast cancer awareness.
🍔The Santa Fe Trail Days Committee is the host of tomorrow's tailgate. They will be serving a free-will donation sloppy joe feed in the NW corner of the stadium. Dinner is served!
🎀Pawnee Valley Community Hospital will also have a table set up with giveaways and breast cancer information! Be sure to stop by and see them.
🧡🖤 Rumor has it that Larned Middle School PTO will be selling their new Indian croc charms too. These are selling fast, don't miss out!
We look forward to seeing everyone in their pink tomorrow! #larnedpride #lesfamily #besttribeever #bettertogether

LES students were welcomed this morning by the LHS girls tennis team and a tennis tunnel! We got a chance to congratulate them for a fantastic season and wish them good luck as they head to regionals tomorrow! Thanks to Mylee and Royce for the cool signs! #lesfamily #larnedpride

Parents to PE - Day 3! #larnedpride #lesfamily

Alex Filbert, Executive Director of the Larned Chamber & Pawnee County Economic Development, visited with Mrs. Munden's class today. Alex is a proud 2013 LHS alumni, and chose to return home after her time at Kansas State University. She spoke with our students about her leadership position within our community and emphasized the importance of them finding their passion and pursuing it in a career after they graduate! Thank you for sharing with us, Alex! #larnedpride #bettertogether

Good news calls home!! #lesfamily #larnedpride

Join the Tri-County team! We're always on the look out for paraprofessionals and substitute paraprofessionals. Right now, we could use additional help at all 3 locations (Ft. Larned, Pawnee Heights, and Kinsley-Offerle) and with all ages of students. This would be a great position for retirees and parents of young students. You will be off of work when your children are - holiday breaks, summers, and more. Tri-County is willing to be flexible with your schedule, (i.e. half days, part-time, etc.) If you're interested in learning more or applying for a position, visit https://usd495.tedk12.com/hire/ViewJob.aspx?JobID=153 #larnedpride
