We are excited to recognize Katie Delaney as our classified Superhero Staff Member of the Month and Becky Hammeke as our certified Superhero Staff Member this month at Larned Elementary School! Both of these superheroes are recognized because they show kindness that is stronger than kryptonite! These staff members show compassion to not only the students but also to other staff members as well.

Whether offering extra support in the classroom, reinforcing lessons, or providing additional supervision, Katie is someone who we can always count on. She is one of the most patient people we know and does a wonderful job seeing the strengths in students. No matter what is thrown at her she powers through and gives her best every day!

As the kids pointed out, Becky is the sweetest and most calm person. Getting her to laugh is the highlight of some of her co-workers' days. She works to find innovative activities within her ELA program to keep students engaged. She is extremely dedicated and for the first time in years used personal days for herself because she always puts others first.
