Important points on the Larned High School Wristband Entrance Policy:
1. All patrons, ages 3 and up, must wear a wristband in order to be able to enter the game. Prices for admittance will remain the same: K-12 $5, and Adults are $6. So yes, a child can get in for free, but still be required to wear a wristband. LHS students are the only exception as we will track them on a pass list. If a LHS student does not get on the pass list, they will be required to wear a wristband if they wish to attend. The student section is for LHS students only. All other USD 495 students should be seated with parents.
2. Each participant will get a set amount of wristbands, unless otherwise noted by administration.
3. LHS administration may require patrons to utilize the grassy areas around the football field if the stands become too crowded. Social distancing is required. Masks are required at all common spaces: entrance/exit, concessions, restrooms and in the stands if you can't social distance. Temperature checks will be performed at all indoor events. Masks required at all times inside.
4. These policies are considered to be best practice in order for our students to be able to compete for as long as they are able. Guidelines could be tightened or loosened based on guidance from county health personnel, the CKL, and KSHSAA.
5. Refer back to the original release for entire details. If you have questions, please call LHS at 285-2151.
The Larned High School Agriculture Education Department would like to thank the Kansas Corn Commission for donating Vernier temperature probes, electronic scales, ring stands, graduated cylinders to our department so that our students will be able to learn about how much energy is in the feedstuff in the feed that we give our animals on a daily basis. #larnedpride
